A school horse competition is an equestrian event where riders compete on horses provided by the hosting school or equestrian center. These competitions are often designed for beginner or intermediate riders who may not have their own horse. The riders are typically judged on their equitation, or their form and control while riding, as well as their ability to navigate a course of jumps or perform specific riding patterns.
